The Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 9:30pm to 11pm to oncoming traffic. So you can get off the island but not on.

New Years Eve & Birthday

Celebrate the birthday of the Town of Fort Myers Beach & New Year's Eve at Time Square. Festivities Live music will be played throughout the day. Ball drop is at midnight followed by fireworks off of the pier. Be aware the bridge will be closed ONLY to oncoming traffic from 12:15am to 1:15 am during the fireworks.

4th of July Parade & Patriotic Event

Come enjoy the annual 4th of July Parade on Fort Myers Beach! The parade will run along Estero Blvd. between School St. and the the Time Square area. The Matanzas Pass bridge will be closed from approximately 9:30am to noon. The Parade starts at 10am.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on March 16th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The route will be from Santini Marina Plaza North on Estero Blvd. to the Church of the Ascension. Estero Blvd. will be closed for approximately 1 hour starting at 9:45.
